I have many computer resources at my finger tips, but I have taken up to using my new laptop as my main work-station. That is not to say that I’m not remotely connected to at least two other machines while using my laptop.
Here are the laptop’s current specifications:
| Model | Dell Inspiron 1520 |
| Operating System | Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium |
| RAM | 2 GB |
| Networking Device | Dell Wireless 1390 WLAN Mini Card |
| CPU | Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T7250 @ 2 GHz |
| Display Adapter | NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT |
When mixing music I add in my external Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio Sound Card. I also have an external video hardware that I’m itching to play with.
It is safe to assume that if the article does not specify any other workstation or laptop that this is the one that it applies too.
Sorry for all my Mac and Linux friends for now. We have a couple Ubuntu machines up and around but that is not where I’m focused currently.
